Every alliance needs good leadership a plan to make them stronger and more able to defend them selves and others.
Friendly versus hostile:
when we are in a position of power we can afford to have a noblue policy. How ever if we are the underdog we need to have as many friendly as possible. It makes no sense to be hostile with another alliance if they are more powerfull and willing to be friendly. Personal grievance with another member in another alliance should be no excuse not to go friendly if the majority on both sides are in favor. Remember friendlies can not hurt you no matter how much you don't like them and might be a good reason to be friendly.
Congregation:
One state is too wide for members at one end to help members at the other end it.Every alliance should agree on a central area to congreagate in and work as a base, Any members In areas sparsely populated by fellow members should port in a closer proximity to other members. ( Avanced ports only) Members located all over the state cannot be protected by every one and often by any one. Random port to hit others advance port back when done.
Congregation is good crowding is not:
On Building a new city or teleporting:
Never build or port a new city closer than 15 miles of another player or your city self unless you are looking for trouble. (( especially an ally )) It will not be appreciated!! At 8 miles you are sitting at their table any closer and you are on the table. You need 15 miles so you are not hitting the same NPC's and starving each other. A good city good city will require - 8 mill an hour of food supply so any closer and some one has to go and it is usually the little guy.
If you were spawned inside the 15 mile area (beginners together)) then you will need to work it out together. If you are a beginner in an alliance members territory then you may be required to port. Every player is given one port to start. Don't let the host have to intervene cause most likely you nwill be both booted till you work it out or one of you is a winner.
Making a second city?
If you don't have 100k warrior's, scouts and arch for 1 town don't bother making a 2nd town, Or... you are just making your self and you fellow members victims. If you do have a second city and split troops for a second town you will still only have 50K each. that is still not enough. If you must have a second city, don't split your troops keep your best city well protected and be ready to defend the second if needed. Build archers in both cities as quickly as possible and move them to your best city then only after you have 200k or more split share them. IF you have 2 towns are in a bad area, and don't have the troops to hold them both, empty the little town to your main and abandon the empty one. I you don't chances are good you will lose it any way and bring your friends down with you. Getr some one to take an NPC or another city in a safer area closer to other members who can defend you.
Keeping the enemy away versus making NPC's for resourses?
When making NPC's to fill up flats... don't make low level flats lower than lv5's if you are just beginning to make npc's you should ...if you can make.. lv 10s 1 to 3 miles around your city as well or have a larger player do it for you. You will need them sooner than you think if you are a serious player. at least 6 lv10's at each city.
You might not notice it yet? but If you have to feed two million troops at -8mill food loss per hr you will not like it when you have to send your farmers out 12 to fifteen miles to get food. Nor will you like it if you have to raid lower lv NPC'S. Further than that and it almost costs more food to bring it back and takes hours to make a round trip. You will wish you had more empty flats that you can turn into lv5 npc's. ((Just filling flats to keep the enemy away?)) It is not always desirable to keep the enemy away if it means starving your cities to do it. Wait for them to level up before making them into npc's. They upgrade one level per day so wait.
TELEPORTS: Inviting and porting players
Don't invite players from out of state unless they have advanced ports or multiple ports for their cities. Random ports can also help with getting out of trouble but most often get you out of the pot and into the fire. Most often random ports are only good to get in to trouble and good if thats what you are looking for. Random ports often place members in another members back yard or near more enemies. If you port into another members field be prepared to move again or be booted and farmed.
Reinforcing and being Reinforced:
There are always some players who are taking up space in the alliance rolls but not taking an active part in the alliance its self. If you expect some one to come to your aid when you are attacked you must be an active part of the alliance when you are on line. At least say hi once in a while to let others know you are present and willing to help if you can.
Grey flags unless they are non allied should not be a target. A grey flag is a neutral flag. A neutral flag means not at war or taking sides for or against. To make a target out of a neutral alliance is an act of war and as such any one making them a target is adding one more aggressor to the list of alliances we have to fight or defend against.
we need to be organized and work to together. If you go off by your self attacking all over then you don't just have one city coming after you and us you are adding many more to the those out to get us. So in essence you are becoming a liability by doing so.
Make sure that you are hitting a real enemy not making new ones.
No alliance can fight every one every where and win. We need to pick our fights and try to ignore others in order to eliminate one threat at a time. other wise we don't just have one alliance coming after you and us you have many out to get us.
any one trash talking other members or being rude in chat or other wise causing trouble will be booted.
